Recipe
Layered Morning Yogurt Parfait
A breakfast that looks considered. Whole-milk yogurt, toasted oat crumble, and ribbons of Almost Blueberry — served cold in a tall glass.
The method
Directions
- Heat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Toss the oats, almonds, melted butter, maple syrup, and salt on a small sheet pan and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring once, until deeply golden.
- Let the crumble cool completely. It will crisp as it cools.
- Into each of two tall glasses, spoon two tablespoons of Almost Blueberry. Layer with a quarter cup of yogurt, then a scoop of crumble.
- Repeat the layering once more, finishing with a spoonful of preserves and a small sprig of mint.
- Serve immediately, with long spoons.
A small note
The crumble keeps in a sealed jar for up to a week. Doubling the recipe is highly advisable.
