Layered Morning Yogurt Parfait

A breakfast that looks considered. Whole-milk yogurt, toasted oat crumble, and ribbons of Almost Blueberry — served cold in a tall glass.

The method

Directions

  1. Heat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Toss the oats, almonds, melted butter, maple syrup, and salt on a small sheet pan and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring once, until deeply golden.
  2. Let the crumble cool completely. It will crisp as it cools.
  3. Into each of two tall glasses, spoon two tablespoons of Almost Blueberry. Layer with a quarter cup of yogurt, then a scoop of crumble.
  4. Repeat the layering once more, finishing with a spoonful of preserves and a small sprig of mint.
  5. Serve immediately, with long spoons.

A small note

The crumble keeps in a sealed jar for up to a week. Doubling the recipe is highly advisable.
